The Bay were once again proud to support The Furness Building Society Charity Stars Contest, the biggest talent show across North Lancashire & South Cumbria!
Live at The Lancaster Grand Theatre, Danny Matthews Hosted the show in his new "showbiz" specs and we had judges Greg Lambert from The Morecambe Visitor, Sue from FBS, Darren Milby from The Bay, Amy-Jo Clough the 1st Charity Stars winner and X-Factor's Paul Akister but the most important people are the 14 finalist who hoped to win a share of £3000 for their favorite North-West charity.

Gabby is supporting Martin House Children's Hospice, Alex McCormack supporting Furness based cancer support group, Megan Forrest supporting Kendal Mountain Rescue, Brandon Hunter supporting CLIC Sargent, Dave Bedford supporting Sight Advice South Lakes, Kate McCallum and Sally Featon supporting 1 Voice Communicating Together and of course Faye Bowness the wonderful 2015 Charity Stars winner
After a fabulous evening of entertainment Danny announced the winners; Massive congratulations to Rebecca Williams with £500 for Barrow Vision Support Centre, Rachel Coombes with £750 for St John's Hospice and the 2016 winner.....Chris Barker with £1000 for CAST Theatre Company!!
