YACHT SAFELY PICKED UP IN SEA RESCUE
30th July 2008

Two County Down lifeboats that were on their way to help a troubled yacht on the Irish Sea have picked it up safely.
The vessel was suffering engine failure and had been taking on water around 12 miles south east of Kilkeel.
It has now been located by lifeboats from Kilkeel and Clogherhead and is being towed back to shore.
Three people are understood to be onboard the yacht.
