POLICE INVESTIGATE FIRE ON MORECAMBE'S WHITE LUND INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

Police are looking for two men in connection with an arson attack on the White Lund Industrial Estate in Morecambe.

Fire crews were called to Capstick Waste Management late last night.

Officers say CCTV footage from the building shows at least one of the men could have been burnt in the incident.

Detective Inspector Glen Oldham, Lancaster Police, said: “We are currently carrying out an investigation in conjunction with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

“We believe that at least one, if not both, of the men involved may have been burnt when the fire took hold and we would urge anyone who has seen anyone with such injuries to get in touch with us.

“I would also ask that if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously around the time of the fire then please contact police.”
