LANCASHIRE GIRL DIES TWO WEEKS AFTER BALCONY FALL

A North Lancashire teenager - who fell from a hotel balcony in Majorca - has died.

Grace Ford from Kirkham fell 90 feet while celebrating the end of her A Levels with friends in Magaluf.

The 17-year old has been in a coma for two weeks.

She's understood to have died following an serious infection.

Douglas Walker, Headmaster of Kirkham Grammar School says "The school is deeply saddened to hear that Grace Ford, who completed her A-levels in June, has died in hospital after a serious accident two weeks ago in Majorca. The school community is devastated to hear this tragic news and we can only express our profound sorrow that Grace has lost her fight for life after suffering terrible injuries.  All our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this sad time".
