2010 CANCER CARE STARWALK

Calling all Ladies across the bay!

What are you doing on the night of Saturday 8th May?

Would you like to join in with hundreds of other women having a great time in Kendal and raising money for a fantastic local charity at the same time?

The CancerCare StarWalk is back for 2010 and all ladies are welcome to take part in the 15KM (9.3 mile) walk around Kendal. The walk starts at 9pm from Lakes Leisure in Kendal and takes in all of the town.

So ladies, get those trainers on and register today. Whether you are walking in memory of a loved one, or as a personal challenge, it’s a moonlight experience you will never forget!

You can join in and step out to help CancerCare continue their vital work across the bay.

So far to date, the StarWalk has raised over £250,000 and over 90% of the money raised this year will go directly to helping local cancer patients and their families.

On the night Bossacubanova will be playing Salsa and South American music to keep everyone entertained, finishing with a Conga line to the start at 9pm. The Pink Parlour (ladies from the beauty department at Kendal College) will be in the sports hall, painting nails for free and offering more treatments to get ladies glammed up for the night.

And Sgt. Wolfbanger will be headlining the night, playing 3 tracks from their brand new album which they have dedicated to CancerCare. Registration is from 6.30pm, the entertainment starts at 7pm and the walk gets going from 9pm.
