Power is still yet to be restored at Lancaster University due to the floods, and is not expected to return until Tuesday.
As a result of this, the decision has been made to cancel teaching for next week until the end of term.
According to the University, exams, tests and coursework deadlines due this week will be postponed until further notice.
Students should await confirmation from their department later this week.
Anyone who can return home safely is advised to do so, while students on campus should be prepared to move to other parts of the campus.
Due to the loss of power and heat on campus staff are not expected to come in on Monday.
However, key staff responsible for student welfare and services, including College and facilities staff, are asked to report to work as normal if it is safe to do so.
There are currently no plans to cancel the postgraduate degree ceremonies.
There will be further updates on Monday 7th of December.
