Cumbria’s Forest Side has been ranked 57th in this year’s Harden’s 100 list - an independent guide to the most notable restaurants in the UK.
Earlier this year, under-head chef Kevin Tickle, the team were able to retain their Michelin star for the second year running.
First awarded a coveted star in 2016 - in the restaurant’s first year of opening, the retention of the star is described by the team as a "testament to the excellent standards" that Head Chef Kevin Tickle, Restaurant Manager Gareth Newton, and Head Sommelier Salvatore Balzano maintain each day.
Kevin said: ‘’I’m very proud of the team at Forest Side and it’s gratifying to be named as one of the top restaurants in Britain.
"Our food comes from the Cumbrian landscape in every sense of the word.
"This place defines our ethos, essence and experience. It’s a delight to share our special part of the world and our food every day with our guests.’’
